Every month in 2019 (and a bit of 2020), Lärmschutz invites a fellow like-minded artist for a split release on Faux Amis records.

For the final installment of this series, Lärmschutz makes their closing statement, with members Rutger and Stef both filling a side each. The whole Faux Amis series was made with the intent of being inspired by artists we love, to make music with their A-side contribution as direct influence. In all fairness, no-one has had a bigger impact on Stef and Rutgers playing as the other member of this duo over the years. But they never before took a solo recording of the other member as a well to draw sounds from. It only feels fitting to do that here, while putting a big ribbon around all the releases in the past year.

We thank all the artists who contributed in 2019 en 2020 in the Faux Amis series. We are forever grateful for their friendship and inspiration. We might continue the series incidently, when opportunity arises. But propably not every month ;-) Then again...with Lärmschutz: you never know what's coming (they don't either!)
