Reading books, something both Rutger and me like. After the Covid Collab just using the rules of the game Machiavelli, Volker got triggered for a new project.

In short it's called Noise Audio Book. This time I read fragments from a book that I like and have read, Rutger turns the spoken word into noise. Another Lärmschutz and Terbeschikkingstelling venture...

This tenth issue is our take on 'Vrijgezel op Kamers' (Bachelor Lodging) by Dutch writer/poet Jan Arends. Little is known about the life of Jan Arends. Because his literary work is strongly autobiographical, this is the most important and possibly the most reliable source of information about his life.

The difficult relationships with bosses and landladies, the humiliating treatments by psychiatrists, judges and other office holders, the difficult and unpleasant aspects of interpersonal relations in general, and the despair and oppression are themes with which all his work is pervaded. Like these poems illustrate.
