Noise Audio Book 9: Leeg en Kaal

Leeg en Kaal 22:00

Reading books, something both Volker and me like. After the Covid Collab just using the rules of the game Machiavelli, Volker got triggered for a new project.

In short it's called Noise Audio Book. This time I read fragments from a book that I like and have read, Volker turns the spoken word into noise. Another Lärmschutz and Terbeschikkingstelling venture...

This ninth issue is our take on 'Leeg en Kaal' (Empty and Barren) by Dutch writer Boudewijn Büch. An author who was unable to make a difference between his life and the fiction, non-fiction and poetry he wrote. He lied in real life and told the truth in his books and vice versa. How much everything was intertwined became clear after his death.

During his life he was an active traveller and writer of books about strange and foreign countries. He also suffered from islomania which resulted in many texts about islands. This is one of them about the islandgroup Tuvalu, located between Hawaii and Australia.

Original book: Boudewijn Büch
